Patong Beach : Phuket, Thailand

The Phuket's beach that every traveller is well know is Patong Beach. Whe you travel to thailand you may find the various type of hotel here. Patong is the most famous beach resort on Phuket. With its wide variety of activities and nightlife, Patong is an ideal place to party and play. By night the town of Patong has a bustling nightlife which includes hundreds of restaurants. The nightlife is centred around Soi Bangla (Bangla Road) however there are quiet parts of town.

Visitors hoping for a glimpse into the exotic East might not find it here, though the steaming hot streets, neon lights and chaotic atmosphere of Patong can be overwhelming for the new arrival. The key to full enjoyment of the Patong Beach is to pace yourself, drink lots of water and relax yourself in Patong Beach. Patong Beach is more famous for its nightlife than the 2-kilometer beach that runs the entire length of Patong Town’s western side.

During the day, the beach is the centre of the action in Patong with people relaxing, throwing a Frisbee, swimming (areas are cordoned off to separate swimmers from water sports) or simply chatting with new found friends... If you're bored with being a beach bum you could hire a jeep and explore the island, or take a local tour to Phang Nga or Phi Phi Island. There are also eco-tours which include canoeing, elephant trekking or snorkelling if you want more then simply sightseeing, or visit some of the local attractions nearby.
