Koh Samui is thailand's third largest island, following from Chang island and Phuket island. Koh Samui is located in gulf of Thailand and in Surathani province of Thailand. This island is about 15 km across. The central part of Koh Samui is an almost uninhabitable mountain jungle, Khao Pom is the peaking at 635 m from water level. All the areas are connected together by a 51 km road, go through all the beach of Samui.
