Chao Sam Phraya National Museum


Chao Sam Phraya National Museum of Arts and Crafts of the characteristics of the Thai Ayutthaya era. The number of ancient Buddha statues are presented together with the local relics, carved panels, the Thai Buddhist sculpture and other objects in the local temples. A good place to visit for people interested in the history of the region, but probably best to visit with the others, if you have enough time.

Details: The museum is open daily, except Mondays, Tuesdays and holidays from 09.00 to 16.00. Entrance fee is 10 Baht.

Directions: The museum is located opposite the Thai Tourism Authority, and Rajabhat Institute Rotchana near the intersection of roads and Si Sanphet Road. Tuk-Tuk rate from the middle of the two costs about 30 Baht. see other destination in Ayutthaya
